Grigg Brothers® remains a science based company dedicated to discovery and has developed annual research protocols designed to assess the use and efficiency of Proven FoliarTM fertilizers, Gary's Green®, Ultraplex®, and PK Plus® applied together, alone, or in combination. Specifically, the research documents the consistency of product performance, leading to dependable solutions for turf managers. Objectives include, but are not limited to:

- Evaluate potassium phosphite (K2PO3-) as one component to integrated pest and best management (BMP) programs

Recent Innovations in Fertilizer Efficiency Grigg Brothers® Proven FoliarTM fertilizers are formulated to promote leaf absorption, making them more efficient than granular and most liquid fertilizers. Research conducted at the Universities of Nebraska (UNL), Michigan State (MSU), and Clemson has documented their high level of efficiency in both the field and greenhouse. Significant differences in nutrient uptake were observed between foliar fertilizers and soluble/raw source materials, specifically for nitrogen (N) and many of the micronutrients including manganese (Mn), iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), and boron (B) (Table 1).In addition, nutrients were 60% absorbed within15 minutes after application, further highlighting their efficiency and subsequent plant use (Figure 1).
Foliar Programs
The most researched, effective, and simple Grigg Brothers® foliar fertilizer program includes the use of Gary's Green® (18-3-4), Ultraplex® (5-0-3), and PK Plus® (3-7-18 plus 14% potassium phosphite). This program most notably offers:
